2023 Genesis GV80 vs 2023 Lincoln Aviator

2023 Genesis GV80 vs 2023 Lincoln Aviator

Overview

If you're looking to get into a truly luxurious three-row crossover, Genesis and Lincoln are both near the top of the heap. Which is better, though: the 2023 Genesis GV80 or the 2023 Lincoln Aviator? Let's find out.

What's New?

This year, the Genesis GV80 comes with all-wheel drive across its lineup and a new 3.5T Prestige Matte package for the top trim level that brings a sleek look and finish to the vehicle with special wood trim. The Aviator, on the other hand, offers a couple of visual trim options that basically bring more black to the picture. The GV80 gives you more in terms of new features and a thoughtfully elegant visual update.

Customizability

The Aviator comes in five trim levels: the Standard, Reserve, Black Label, Grand Touring, and Black Label Grand Touring. The GV80, on the other hand, has three basic trim levels, but a slew of sub-trims for each, which are practically trim levels of their own. They break down into the 2.5T Standard, 2.5T Advanced, 2.5T Prestige, 3.5T Standard, 3.5T Advanced, 3.5T Advanced+, 3.5T Prestige, and 3.5T Prestige Matte. For customizability, Genesis wins.

Warranty Coverage

When it comes to warranty coverage, Genesis takes the cake in terms of luxury vehicles. The basic warranty for the Genesis GV80 features bumper-to-bumper coverage for five years or 60,000 miles, and 10 years or 100,000 miles for the powertrain. Lincoln only provides a four-year/40,000-mile bumper-to-bumper and six-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty. In the end, Genesis beats out Lincoln for looks, customizability, and warranty coverage.
