The G80 Electrified marks Genesis' entry into the luxury electric sedan market. This car blends the G80 line's elegance with advanced electric technology. Trim Levels (Exterior)
The G80 Electrified comes in one well-equipped version. Its front sports the signature G-Matrix Crest Grille with a built-in charging port, bringing out its electric nature while maintaining the Genesis style. The car has quad LED lights in front and back, a Genesis trademark.
The G80 Electrified rides on 19-inch turbine-style wheels, which help it cut through the air. Sleek side mirrors fold in and have built-in turn signals. Engine (Power)

It has all-wheel drive for better grip in various road conditions. An 87.2-kilowatt-hour battery pack powers the car, and a 10.9-kilowatt charger in the vehicle helps fill up the battery fast. The EPA estimates the G80 Electrified can go 282 miles on a full charge. It gets 105 MPGe in the city, 89 MPGe on the highway, and 100 MPGe combined.
Performance
The G80 Electrified performs as well as many gas-powered cars. It goes from zero to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds thanks to the quick power from its electric motors. It runs a quarter mile in 12.8 seconds, hitting 106 mph. While its top speed is limited, it's projected to reach about 150 mph.
In addition to its impressive acceleration, the G80 brakes well, coming to a halt from 70 mph in 184 feet. The car handles nicely, scoring 0.90 g-force on the skidpad. It has an observed fuel economy of 95 MPGe in testing, close to the EPA estimate. During highway testing at 75 mph, it went 280 miles on one charge.
Interior
The inside of the G80 Electrified is both elegant and eco-friendly. It fits five people well, with ample headroom and legroom in the front and back. There's a spacious 14.5-inch display for information and controls and a 12.3-inch digital gauge display. You can get luxurious nappa leather seats, and the trim uses recycled wood and other green materials. The driver's seat has seven air pockets to fit your body. The front and back seats can be heated and cooled, and the car has two-zone climate control. Music lovers can get a Lexicon sound system with 17 speakers.
Safety Features
The G80 Electrified has many high-tech safety features. These include lane-keep assist, collision avoidance assist, and blind-spot monitoring.
