3. Heʻeia State Park

Located a little over 20 miles east of Waipahu, Heʻeia State Park is another fantastic oceanside tropical park that features scenic views of the surrounding mountains and excellent spots for swimming, hiking, and other recreational activities. Open daily between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, this place is an excellent day trip destination that can be reached in less than half an hour by car.
